A check around the reserve after the strong overnight winds, produced a flurry of new birds although the only thing of note was 86 pochard on the fresh marsh.

Given up twitching (almost) and concentrate on my local patch around Syderstone village. Best self found stuff includes Horny redpoll, Iberian chiffchaff citrine wag and 2 icterine warblers (not on the patch!!)
